Movement Meditation 

Movement Meditation is a mindfulness practice where we actively practice autonomy and agency through movement in the given space and moment. It releases stress and gives you the jumpstart you need to reorganize your thoughts, reengage your purpose and reignite your energy! 

Movement Meditation Session meets every other Tuesday at Andy Arts 

from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Storytelling is the social and cultural activity of sharing stories, sometimes with improvisation, theatrics or embellishment. Every culture has its own stories or narratives, which are shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values.

Join the (RE)Claim series as we utilize the importance of storytelling to promote and educational experience for youth. We will host biweekly storytelling session and provide books for participants to read!

(RE)Claim: Wellness, Fitness and Health

(RE)Claim: Wellness, Fitness and Health focuses on physical and mental practices for exercising and conditioning. Participants will work on their specific health goals through physical activities including, but not limited to, dance aerobics, stretch and tone, yoga, step aerobics, Zumba, and other dance exercises. This program emphasizes a mindfulness component which focuses on setting goals, journaling, movement meditation, group conversations and self-reflection. This program also offers informational resources to promote healthy nutritional lifestyle practices.
